Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who was one of a trio of the creative team of directors on the popular game The Witcher 3, has joined the talented team of Cyberpunk 2077. In January it was revealed that Sebastian Stepien, also a creative director on the popular game The Witcher 3 as well as a setting and narrative director on sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077, had left CD Projekt Red to work for the Blizzard company. Tomaszkiewicz may be filling the empty gap, adopting roles as vice president of design director and game development for Cyberpunk 2077 according to his profile on Linkedin, originally spotted by a poster on the famous social forum platform Reddit.
Tomaszkiewicz’s move came to light following his profile update on LinkedIn, which not only shows that he joined the development team of Cyberpunk 2077 in February 2019, but also that he has been promoted to Vice President at CD Projekt RED of Game Development.
Tomaszkiewicz joined the company as a Junior Tester in February 2004 and has been working in various capacities on the most popular The Witcher franchise since then. He also worked on The Witcher 3‘s critically-acclaimed expansions, named as Blood and Wine and Heart of Stone.
Stępień left CD Projekt RED to join Blizzard Entertainment organization in January 2019. This development was also revealed through a profile update on LinkedIn, where the developer noted that he joined Blizzard company as Creative Director on a project which is unnamed. At the time of his departure, Stępień had been working on the brand new game Cyberpunk 2077 for over six years.
CD Projekt RED ramped up the development of Cyberpunk 2077 after work on popular franchise The Witcher started to wind down, although a portion of the development team is working on the Gwent spin-offs. The studio recently made an announcement that it will make an appearance at the grand E3 2019, which will take place between Tuesday, June 11, 2019, and Thursday, June 13, 2019.
The game Cyberpunk 2077 is in development for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. CD Projekt RED has yet to announce a window or launch date but rumor has it that the upcoming title will be a cross-gen release.
Cyberpunk 2077 release date:-
CD Projekt has not given a date. The game developers have given a range, but it is a wide one: we know that it plans to release Cyberpunk 2077 between 2021 and 2017, along with another RPG which is unannounced. Our guess is that the sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 will release in 2019, and a deleted tweet from a Turkish publisher alluded to a release date in 2019.
We know CD Projekt is targeting the recent generation of consoles in addition to PC. That only gives the team so much of the time to get it out the door. If you want even more assistance and support, the 2019 guess is backed up by several comments from a March 2017 results conference during which CD Projekt game developers said that progress on the sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is quite advanced. That said, the, when it is done motto, is something CD Projekt is serious about.
